where we started

We ran an experiment for KOI Dessert Bar on social media, disguising consumer feedback as a delicious chance to win cakes, by integrating key questions to fuel intelligence. One of them being, “What brand would you dream of seeing KOI collaborate with?”. Some answers were obvious. Some were shocking. But none of them gathered as many votes as Ferrero Rocher.

So naturally, it was time to make it happen.

what we did

Timing is everything. We built a multi-channel strategy upon an existing brief for Christmas timing, one of Ferrero Rocher’s biggest gifting periods (understandably) as well as leveraging KOI Dessert Bar’s peak trade season for celebration cakes.

Our superstar talent, Reynold Poernomo, was the golden star of the ‘Golden Christmas’ campaign, developing stunning creations for consumers to try in-store, or order at home to share with family and friends, integrating Ferrero Rocher pralines in and around the bespoke items.

We incorporated money-can’t-buy competition elements and extended the campaign reach and impact to 10,000 transacting customers during the Christmas Period, through print media distribution and a Ferrero Rocher 3-pack GWP.

The campaign was brought to life visually and designed & produced by our team, including branded eDMs, dedicated landing pages, print media, social media, in-store product tags and more.
